Defi Xpress® — Compact Biphasic Defibrillator-Monitor for Hospitals & Clinics
Cardiac arrhythmias — where the heart beats too fast, too slow, or irregularly — can quickly progress to cardiac arrest or stroke if left untreated. Having a reliable defibrillator on hand is critical for anyone responding to a patient in ventricular arrhythmia, and every second counts in restoring a normal rhythm.
The Defi Xpress® is a compact, durable, and lightweight defibrillator-monitor developed by Meditech, combining integrated ECG monitoring, manual defibrillation, and AED mode in one device, with an optional pacer function. Designed as a professional biphasic defibrillator-monitor, it's built for reliable performance in hospital and clinical settings. The system comes with ECG monitoring paddles and can be configured with optional SpO2 (Nellcor or Meditech), NIBP, EtCO2, and PC connectivity software.
Available in two color options.
High-Resolution Display
A 7-inch (17.7 cm) diagonal screen shows heart rate, lead/pad status, alarm on/off, SpO2, and AED prompts, with a 25 mm/sec sweep speed and clear alarm/energy delivery indicators.
Biphasic Defibrillation
Charges in under 7 seconds with a fully charged battery. The monitor displays both selected and delivered energy, with voice and visual charge prompts and an electrode impedance measurement range of 0–250 ohms.
Flexible ECG Monitoring
Supports 3-lead or 5-lead ECG cable connections and paddles, with selectable leads (I, II, III, AVR, AVL, AVF, V), adjustable ECG size (0.25–4 cm/mV), heart rate range of 20–300 BPM, and smart audio/visual alarms for shockable rhythms.
Long-Lasting Battery
Rechargeable 12V Ni-MH battery delivers up to 60 discharges at maximum energy or a minimum of 3 hours of continuous ECG monitoring on a full charge (varies with active functions).
AED Mode
Automatically analyzes rhythm and charges up to 3 times with programmable auto energy selection, plus voice and visual prompts. Detects shockable rhythms including ventricular fibrillation (≥200 µV) and ventricular tachycardia (≥140 bpm, QRS ≥140 ms).
Manual Mode
Selectable energy levels from 2 to 360 joules, with synchronized cardioversion mode that aligns the defibrillator pulse to the patient's R-wave.
Built-in Recorder
Thermal printer (50 mm paper) with selectable print speeds, manual or automatic printout modes, and automatic 9-second recording triggered by alarms, charging, or discharge events.
