Its ergonomic design ensures comfortable handheld use, while an optional desktop stand and mobile trolley extend its versatility across different clinical settings.
Designed to assist doctors and nurses in locating veins in challenging cases — including obese, hairy, or dark-skinned patients — the QV-500 significantly improves puncture success rates, reducing both procedural costs and patient discomfort. It is also effective for examining patients with varicose veins, helping clinicians avoid closed or bifurcated vessels during procedures.
With a range of user-adjustable functions, the QV-500 adapts to patients of different ages, body types, skin tones, and clinical environments. It offers twelve color display options for varying skin tones and lighting conditions, three image sizes suited for adults, children, and newborns, and six brightness levels for optimal visual comfort. Additional features include image inversion for user preference, an enhance mode for improved visibility of thin or deep veins, and a sleep mode for quick standby and wake functionality during intermittent use.
Using safe infrared light detection technology, the QV-500 poses no harm to patients. Powered by a Panasonic 3400mAh rechargeable lithium battery, it delivers up to 3 hours of continuous working time, with real-time battery level display and low-battery alerts.
